We arrived in Butuan late at night after our tour in the islands of Siargao and Bucas Grande. Though tired and sleepy, we still went out after checking-in to our accommodation to look for a place to eat. We did not mind what place it may be as long as we can sate our hunger the soonest. Tired and hungry – that was everyone’s complain after our Saturday morning boot camp. We were all not used to that type of activity and it drained us a lot. So after the big pumps, twists, and stretches, we decided to went out to fuel up. Beside our building, Cyberscape Alpha, stands the AIC Gold Tower which are both accessible via the Sapphire and Garnet Roads. Though new to the place, since we just moved in to a new building along Sapphire Road, we ventured out an hour past midnight to check for better options. We took the earliest Cebu Pacific flight to Iloilo and headed to SM City Iloilo immediately after our arrival. We decided to wait for Marx there, who was coming after an hour, and for us to look for some early morning refreshments. I never expected that our first activity in Coron would be a 724-step hike to the summit of Mt. Tapyas. We climbed the steep hill without reconditioning my joints so I did a hard time defying the gravity. We’ll, it wasn’t that resistive all the time since going down was a lot easier. We stayed at Gigantes Hideaway Resort during our tour in Gigantes Islands. For 200 pesos a day, we were nested in a nipa hut accommodation (good for 3) with comfy bedding (but don’t expect too much) and a common CR/bathroom. We are talking about rural accommodation here, so expect mosquitoes to ruin your sleep (you know what to do to counter them). Brgy.
