Shutter: Sunken Cemetery Marker, Camiguin
The eruption of Mt. Vulcan in 1871 destroyed most of the town of Catarman and even sunk some of its portions beneath the sea. One of those area was the cemetery. The marker was placed to commemorate both those who were already resting in peace and those who lost their lives during the tragedy.
