If you resolve to claim them back,
Are willing to forgive the sins of the past?
Human, vulnerable as they could be,
The same mistakes may come to be.
And when that ordeal eventuate,
Will you deal with it separately?
And be reasonable, considerate,
To not recount history indignantly?
The journey forward is a lot different.
Comfort and repose may be hard to get.
The annals of the affair is tainted with mistrust.
So dawning anew may be tough to amass.
Can you discard the tear
and care earnestly?
Will you forgo the pain
and love unconditionally?
