Green Lantern Quote
Just done watching the screening of DC’s latest offerring at the CS in MOA alone. I love this quote so I wont let this pass even though I already posted this on FB. Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) was chosen by the ring to be part of the the Green Lantern Corps, making him the only human in the row. However he is reluctant to take the responsibility because he is afraid and the “job description” of being a green lantern is being fearless. What awakens him is Carol Ferris (Blake Lively) quoting, “You are chosen not because you are fearless ... Read more

Vitamin D, From the Sun?
Early morning exercise and staying under the morning sun were just few of the advises we got from our elementary mentors. We were taught that such activities help us get vitamin D from the sun. Does vitamin D really comes from the sun? Truth is, the only particle that the sunlight carries are photons and I don’t think that vitamin D is made up of these photons. Vitamin D, is a group fat soluble secosteroid, which means a form of steroid, that is derived from cholesterol. Vitamin D3, for instance, is made in the skin when 7-dehydrocholesterol (a form of ... Priest: A New Cinematic Excitement
It is anticipated, of course, due to the multiple times of moving the release date. I guess May 13 of this year would be final.Unlike other vampire movies where priests are just extras of the film or even victims themselves of the vampire bite, this movie features a vampire killer priest named Priest. This is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller which is set in an alternate world where the humanity and the vampires have warred for centuries. “The priests of our story are like Jedi knights. Faces of Taft Avenue
April 23, 2011, a Black Saturday but literally it wasn’t. The sun has shone brightly, the roads and the streets were non-congested, and the neighborhood noise had gone low, this was indeed the best day to spend much of my time in bed. However, I wasn’t in the mood the take a nap since I already spent most of my time for it for the past two days. And, that was aside from fixing my iPod. So I took the road, walking, while neglecting the burning sun’s heat on my skin. I reached Libertad in Pasay City and looked for ... Read more
Do not Jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 with SnOwbreeze
Something happened to my iPod Touch 4G (read the story here) so I decided to restore it, of course with the latest Apple Firmware, the iOS 4.3.2. Since AppStore apps are really expensive, especially for me who just wanted to try then delete if I don’t like the app, I’d jailbreak with SnOwbreeze 2.6 for me to use cracked apps. I tried using redsnOw 0.9.6rc14 however it could not recognize the iOS platform I do have. Good thing that I had successfully jailbroke my iPod and I can see Cydia and Installous in my apps. I can also use free ... Read more
