Sony’s ISP Subsidiary Launches the Word’s Fastest Home Internet
So-net Entertainment Corporation, an internet service provider (ISP) subsidiary of Sony Corporation, has launched a fiber optic internet service that provides download speed of 2 Gbps, making it the fastest home internet in the world. The connection, which utilizes FTTH (fiber-to-home) infrastructure, is initially available in Chiba, Gunma, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Saitama in Japan. The Nuro, the commercial name of the service, speeds up the internet services of both homes and small businesses in the aforementioned territories. Gogobot Enlists Boracay in their Top 15 Rising Star Desinations
Gogobot, a popular iPhone and Android travel planning app, recently released its 2013 Travelers’ Favorite Award Winners list. In the Destinations category, the list includes; top 20 destinations, top 15 winter destinations, top 15 ski destinations, and top 15 rising star destinations wherein Boracay ranked 7th. Youtube went online with the first video posted on April 23, 2005. It received $11.5 million technology startup funding from Sequoia Capital in November of the same year then acquired by Google for $1.65 billion in October of 2006.
